News flash: email Monday morning from Munk Debates:

48 Hour Free Viewing through noon (ET) Wed Nov. 20

Dear Munk Debate Member,

For the next 48 hours we are making the Munk Debate on the End of Men free for online viewing. Friday’s debate saw Hanna Rosin and Maureen Dowd move audience opinion sharply against Caitlin Moran and Camille Paglia, and in favour of the motion: be it resolved men are obsolete.

Prior to the debate, 16% of the 3,000 audience members in attendance agreed with the resolution, and 84% disagreed. Following the debate, the “pro” team achieved an impressive 28% gain in audience support for a final result of to 44% in favour versus 56% opposed. This is the largest swing in audience opinion in the six year history of the semi-annual debates.

You can watch the debate in its entirety, free on our website until Wednesday, November 20 at noon, by clicking below:Munk Debate on the End of Men In addition, our panel of experts held a lively discussion and analysis of the debate at our post-debate video town hall.
