YouTube intelligent video channels

Channel surfing has arrived at YouTube.  If you are not yet familiar with YouTube channels, here is a short list to get you watching, with some suggestions.

Intelligence Squared

University of California Television

The newest wrinkle is YouTube Original Channels, launched early this year with a $100 million investment by YouTube. These channels feature original video content produced for that channel. Kind of like television channels. (Remember television?)

Here are a few that look interesting:

UCTV Prime - YouTube’s first university-run original channel. Each week, UCTV Prime presents 15 minutes of fresh content.

Suggested series: UCTV Prime: Cuts

recommended program: UCTV Prime: Cuts – Vision Reconstruction [3 and a half minutes]
UC Berkeley brain imaging researchers are using MRI scans to reconstruct what people are seeing.
and premiering Tuesday, April 10: Mysteries of the Black Widow (Trailer)
